SHE Leads Group is My Passion!
My name is Beth Boen, Founder of SHE Leads Group. I’m a 40-year business development professional and a proud mom to a college-aged son who keeps me on my toes! I have a deep love for helping people build long-term, loyal relationships that lead to quality business connections—relationships that often turn into lifetime customers and endless referrals. SHE Leads Group allows me to live out that passion every day.
Before starting SHE Leads Group, I used to tell people about the best job I ever had: I was the Marketing and Promotions Manager for a local newspaper back in Illinois. I served as the community liaison for the paper, attending networking events, joining service clubs and chambers, evaluating sponsorship opportunities, and producing special events. I was out in the community every day, connecting people and building relationships. I loved it—and I was great at it! It felt more like a hobby than a job. While other jobs included relationship-building, this role made it the centerpiece, and I thrived. Looking back, the relationship aspect has always been my favorite part of any job I’ve ever had.
Another gift I’ve discovered over the years is my ability to train and mentor others. In every corporate role I held, I was the person the boss asked to train the new hires. I genuinely enjoyed helping people feel welcome, answering their questions, and making their transition smoother. My co-workers thought I was a little crazy for loving this responsibility, but it came naturally to me. We all have different gifts—I’m grateful I know mine and get to use them daily.
Through SHE Leads Group, I share these gifts with our members to help them grow their businesses. I’ve worked hard to build a culture of support that is felt at every event and in every interaction. We strive to be the most welcoming group of women you’ll meet at a networking event. As the Founder, I make it a priority to get to know each of our members personally.
I truly believe I have the best job. SHE Leads Group allows me to teach women how to be successful in all types of business relationships. I bring together four decades of experience in sales, marketing, and customer service to provide SHE Leads Group members with master class training they won’t find in college or trade school.

What does SHE stand for?
SHE is more than a leads group - SHE Leads Group exists to support women in business development roles. SHE Members are women in business who appreciate the role many women have being a full-time caregiver to loved ones and advancing their full-time career or business. The letters “S H E” stand for Supporting Heart & Enterprise ®. Heart is our families, or anything near and dear and personal to us. Enterprise is our business or career. Members are expected to uphold the values and culture for which SHE stands. Every member of SHE Leads Group should desire to be a resource to each other. SHE Leads Group is more than just a leads group. We are a group of supportive women who truly want to help others in any way possible.
