SHE Leads Group Purse Project Purse Packing Event
SHE Leads members and guests will gather to fill donated purses with personal care, hygiene, and fun items in preparation for donation to local women's shelters.

Support Needed/Volunteer Opportunities
- Food & Beverage Donations - light bites and coffee/ water/ juice (this does not have to be a caterer, just multiple volunteers picking up the store-bought items)
- Set up (7:30 am) and clean up (12:00 - until) - day of the event
- Donation Box coordination now through December 12th - pick up and storage of donations as needed from our 17 box locations
- Donation recipients - we have identified 4 local shelters that need our donations but we need to identify more
- Donation deliveries - we will deliver donations December 13 and 14 and need several members to volunteer to drop off donations and take pictures at drop off (if permitted by the recipient). You will take your designated number of purses the day of the event and deliver over the next two days at your convenience and based on the convenience of the recipient you deliver to.

Regarding Cash Donations:
The SHE Leads Purse Project does this work as a not-for-profit project, although it does not have official non-profit status. We do have financial transparency and a treasurer. All work done is 100% volunteer. Cash donations can be payable with a check or Venmo. Checks can be made payable to “Elizabeth Boen – Purse Project” or Venmo to @Elizabeth-Boen-2 (phone 303-981-1541). When making a donation, please put in the memo if it is for the SC or CO market.
