Lori Dubois is the owner of Sacred Story Stones, a unique shop that provides handcrafted beaded items to support your spiritual journey, whatever that may be. We combine specially selected semi-precious stones with carefully crafted messages to create our exclusive Story String™ affirmation strings, bracelets, kids' affirmation beads, and badge-holder lanyards. We also create beautiful prayer beads, including Catholic rosaries; and meditation beads like malas, as well as our exclusive Rocky Mountain Meditation necklace, which serves both as a beautiful stone necklace and a traditional mala when you count around it one and a half times.
Lori has over 35 years of experience and expertise in marketing, and recently closed her consulting business, Marketing Troubadour, after 15 years in business to devote her full time to Sacred Story Stones. She knows words matter, whether you are crafting a marketing message or talking to yourself, as we all do, because choosing the right words has power and impact. Sacred Story Stone’s tagline is “Because the most important stories are the ones you tell yourself” because she knows self-talk is highly effective in creating a positive mindset and strong belief in yourself.
Sacred Story Stones uses only natural beads and stones, almost exclusively semi-precious stones, occasionally accented with shell, wood, or metal. Crystals and stones found in nature hold energetic properties, and certain stones are associated with particular characteristics and feelings. We sell online and at local craft shows and create custom orders. Business owners can create their own signature Story String™ for clients, retaining exclusivity of that particular design.
